January 9th 2023. Birmingham, Alabama. Legacy Arena. Monday Night RAW. Wrestling and Birmingham have a storied history. It was once home to the Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center where Dr. James Andrews repaired many injuries. Damage CTRL were far from wounded, coming to Birmingham to remind everyone Becky Lynch's attempt to stir dissension between them failed. Our Captain Dakota Kai was the definition of fashionista in that new hat, black top and leather pants. Becky Lynch never came close. Jinny Who?

Bayley stepped into the ring to face "Michin" Mia Yim. Last week it was just Michin. This week it's "Michin" Mia Yim again. My head is experiencing a reckoning keeping track. Prior to the match, Bayley addressed Becky Lynch who was notably absent. The Role Model made note of the weird obsession Becky has with Damage CTRL. Bayley wondered if Lynch was absent because she's jealous of the bond Damage CTRL share. Or if she's embarassed Bayley pinned her on the December 19th 2022 episode of RAW.

Whatever Becky's excuse for no-showing RAW was, Bayley didn't care because tonight was all about WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Dakota Kai and IYO SKY. Hell Yeah! Dakota Kai and IYO SKY Appreciation Night! Can we get a video of Dakota kicking people's heads off and IYO stomping over people en route to Over the Moonsault? Okay so, it wasn't that type of appreciation night. Bayley was giving her girls a well-deserved night off. As Bayley pointed out: They have worked damn hard. The Role Model told Kai and SKY to go backstage and chill.

Bayley warned Becky to watch what she does to The Man's so-called friend Michin. Yim put up a fight but Bayley won with some leverage just before the referee counted three. Michin wasn't kicking out anyway. Later on, Bayley was interviewed as Damage CTRL were on their way out of the arena. Bayley was asked if her statement victory over Michin was a message to Becky. The Role Model pointed out she already sent a message to Becky by beating her, however a message was sent to the entire women's division that Damage CTRL remains the dominating force.

Michin got in Bayley's face calling her a fraud and cheat. Ever the inspirational Role Model, Bayley complimented Michin for stepping up to her in Becky's honor. But Michin had spewed insults and would have to answer for those. The Ladies gave her the thrashing she deserved. Even though Michin was unkind to Bayley, The Role Model was still willing to part some wisdom to her: Don't step up for someone who won't be there for you. IYO relaxed Michin to think on Bayley's words with a kick. Bayley was correct. Becky Lynch is no Man of the People... she's just a fake Hollywood type.
