February 6th 2023. Orlando, Florida. Amway Center. Monday Night RAW. It's become personal. Last week, that bitter dope Becky Lynch assaulted IYO SKY and threatened to end the injured Dakota Kai's career. All to get that cage match she manipulated Bayley into accepting in the first place. A match Bayley didn't need because she had nothing to prove. But Bayley would say yes. For Dakota! WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Kai (using crutches) and SKY were not at 100% yet braved that fact to accompany Bayley to ringside for the cage match against Lynch.

There was concern for her ladies safety but Bayley knew better than to keep them away. Even hurt they are badasses. Bayley hugged them before entering the cage. The Role Model told Dakota this match was for her. Our Captain and The Genius of the SKY stood beside the 15 foot high structure, cheering on their Damage CTRL comrade. The flesh smashed to steel. Toppling from cage to canvas. The sadist in this Chronicler couldn't resist some grins. There's nothing like a good old fashioned regular steel cage match without Hellish bells and whistles or chamber pods. Yes, those are beautiful. But sometimes that plain old steel cage is the way to go.

Just when it looked like Bitter Time Becks would climb over and out, IYO prevented that injustice. Dakota braved her injury to lend Bayley a crutch since there's no DQ. Fair game. Unfortunately, that conniving Lynch had an allowed hand to play too. She brought out WWE Hall of Famer Lita to lend her an assist. So, Lita has forgiven Becky for treating her like garbage around this time last year. The only positive (for the lack of a better word) of this is that it proves Becky just doesn't have any friends on the actual roster. Ha!

Lita attacked IYO who at least can defend herself. She then grabbed the crutch that the injured Dakota was holding. Lita pulled at the crutch, ramming Dakota into the steel steps. Kai whose an injured woman I might remind you was just defending herself from an impending attack by that miscreant. Of course, Lita wasn't done. Nope. She had to slam the cage door in Bayley's face to prevent her from cleanly exiting the cage to win the match. Becky hit the Manhandle Slam on Bayley to bring about a pinfall victory. Lita might as well have been declared the co-winner. Bah.

Remember that the past reminds us of this truth: Damage CTRL always comes back stronger and Ding Dong, HELL! even more wrathful. Heed that truth those who cross them.
